Words That Burn, the metal juggernaut from the North-East of Ireland, are offering another chance to get a sneak preview of their new single “When We’re Forgotten” this coming Monday, 9th April on the Cranium Titanium Metal Radio Show at 8pm.
Feck News was privileged to be among the first to hear the song last night and can guarantee it will fast become a fan-favourite. Words That Burn are well known across Ireland and, increasingly in Europe, for fusing face-punching riffs with soaring melody, however “When We’re Forgotten” really ups the ante in terms of heaviness, rage and goosebumping hooks.
Roni Vox, the band’s lead singer, was enthused about debuting the completed version of the song at their headline gig in An Spailpín Fánach, Cork this weekend: “We’re going to rip the Seshtival up with this song on Saturday. The plan is to play it past and watch the place go mad. It’s going to be one for the Circle Pit.”
There’s no official release date yet but Words That Burn are expecting this to be somewhere around the beginning of May. Keep your ears to the ground metalheads. “When We’re Forgotten” is coming your way, hard, fast and extremely loud. We’ll keep you all up to date about the launch when it’s announced so be sure to follow Feck News on Facebook for new information.
In the meantime, here a track from their debut album “Regret is for the Dead” to keep you all in the mood.
